Croatia. Trogir

After arriving in Trogir, we checked into a charming apartment just a short walk from the old town. Eager to explore, we headed out for an evening stroll through this UNESCO World Heritage-listed gem. The town is like stepping back in time, with its narrow, stone-paved streets, medieval walls, and stunning Renaissance architecture...
  Map of the trip...
The heart of Trogir is its historic old town, located on a small island connected by bridges to the mainland and ÄŒiovo Island...

Interesting fact: Trogir has been continuously inhabited for over 2,300 years, with influences from the Greeks, Romans, and Venetians, all of which can still be seen in its architecture and layout...

The town square, lined with cafes and historic buildings, was a lively spot where locals and visitors gathered, creating a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere...

As we wandered through its maze of alleyways, we came across the beautiful St. Lawrence Cathedral, a masterpiece of Romanesque architecture...

The next morning, we took our time exploring more of  Trogir, enjoying the quiet charm before the city fully awoke...

After soaking in the atmosphere of this medieval town, we caught a bus and continued our journey along the Adriatic coast to Split, leaving behind the serene beauty of Trogir and looking forward to the next adventure...
