Our apartment was conveniently located just a stone's throw from the central square, making it easy to explore the vibrant atmosphere of the area. After a day spent in the mountains, we were quite tired, and as evening settled in, we checked in and took a moment to relax...
While my wife prepared dinner, I ventured out to a local store to buy a bottle of wine. The atmosphere of the town was inviting, with the scent of fresh pastries wafting through the air and the sound of laughter echoing from nearby cafes. Back at our apartment, we enjoyed a beautiful dinner on the balcony, with a stunning view of the mountains surrounding Makarska. The combination of good food, lovely wine, and the serene mountain backdrop made for a perfect end to the day...
The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we set out to explore more of Makarska...

The deep blue waters of the Adriatic shimmered under the soft light, calm and endless, stretching toward the horizon.   Before heading to Nugal Beach, we stopped by a supermarket and picked up couple delicious bureks filled with cheese, a flaky, savory pastry that quickly became one of our favorite snacks in Croatia. We also grabbed fresh tomatoes and a bottle of cola to enjoy with our meal later...

With our supplies, we set off along the scenic path to Nugal, eager to spend the day surrounded by the natural beauty that defines Makarska’s coastline...

Upon reaching Nugal Beach, we settled in for a blissful four hours, basking in the sun, enjoying the crystal-clear waters, snorkeling and taking in the breathtaking scenery. The beach was a hidden gem, and we couldn’t have asked for a more idyllic spot. For lunch, we savored our burek and sipped on cola, feeling completely relaxed and content...
