Switzerland. Zurich

After my visit to Bern, I took a train to Zurich, where I spent the next three hours exploring the city's main streets and enjoying views from various vantage points. Zurich, known as Switzerland's largest city and a global financial hub, boasts a blend of modernity and rich history...
From the train station I walked along the river towards to the main view point in the city...

I then made my way to the Lindenhof, a historic hilltop park offering panoramic views of the old town, the Limmat River, and the distant Alps. Despite the overcast, gray sky, the view was captivating, providing a serene contrast to the vibrant city below. An interesting fact about Lindenhof is that it was once the site of a Roman castle and later a Carolingian royal residence. Today, it serves as a peaceful retreat and a place of historical significance.

Almost all of my time I spent close to the river, with stunning views on the city...

Also, I strolled by the Zurich cozy streets...

After my brief but enriching visit to Zurich, I headed back to the train station for a quick trip to Zurich Airport. From there, I boarded my flight to Kaunas, reflecting on the beautiful and diverse experiences of my journey through Switzerland...
