Turkey. Kaş
The town of Kaş we passed through while tackling the Lycian Way... There, Dіanka was waiting for us, having traveled from Antalya by bus... It is a very beautiful town on the coast and unlike others... Residential buildings are situated on the mountain, while the central part of the town and the port are in the lowlands...
We met Diana on a beach not far from the town...
In the evening, we strolled through the center and together enjoyed delicious Turkish yogurt on the rocks near the port...
For the night, we stayed via couchsurfing with a very charismatic girl - nurse Zeki... She lived in a house located almost at the highest point of the mountain. We had never had to climb such a steep slope in a city before... An asphalt road led along the residential area... Apparently, there is no ice in the city...
The next day, Dima and I continued running along the Lycian Way, while Dianka fully enjoyed the town of Kaş...
A small port...
Banana palms...
Banana blossoms...
The city also has ancient landmarks... Kaş was one of the main cities of the ancient state...
The streets of the town are immersed in greenery...
The streets are lined with shops and restaurants catering to European tourists... Vendors and waiters invite you to their establishments in French and German, making it clear which nationalities are their main clientele...
Small details that sometimes go unnoticed but contribute to the perception of the town...
The doors of some local estates...
15 kilometers from the town of Kaş is one of the most beautiful beaches - Kaputaş... To reach it, you must descend from the highway...
From the beach, Diana took a bus to Fethiye, where our paths were to cross again and continue our journey together...
