Tatras. Part 3
The third day of our hike turned out to be the clearest in terms of visibility... Waking up at dawn and looking out the window of the tourist hut, we saw the rocks spread out around us, which simply beckoned us, striking with their mighty appearance... The sky was perfectly clear, not even a hint of clouds... The route for today was immediately decided - we would climb the highest point of Poland again, to finally see the views hidden from us yesterday...
Today, climbing to the summit was much easier... The morning energy mixed with the power of the mountains served as an additional charge for us...
The breathtaking views... As you climb, the sense of elation never leaves you...
A series of photos titled "Madam on the Roof of Poland"...
At the summit of Rysy (2503 m)...
We brought along a national flag, which we had previously unfurled in the Himalayas... This has become our, perhaps banal, but still a tradition... We were the only ones who brought a flag of our country to the summit. When one person asked which country's flag we were holding, and heard the answer - Ukraine, he got excited and proclaimed - "Friends"... It's nice when bright colors evoke so many positive emotions...
Lakes from the summit of Rysy...
The Slovak side...
Opposite the main Polish peak is an almost identical unnamed peak - its twin... There are far fewer people, and the views are even better... That's where we headed...
Views of Rysy from the unnamed summit...
Back to Slovakia, facing Poland...
Yes... To the list of things you can look at forever, you want to add these kinds of landscapes...
Looking closely, you can see people on the ridge of the mountain... It's hard to believe that this is the trail we climbed...
And then, the descent back to the lakes... It's important to watch your step sometimes, or you could fall... The views are simply overwhelming...
Czarny Staw pod Rysami - the most beautiful lake we've ever seen... No filters or photoshop, everything as it is...
This glacial lake is located at an altitude of 1583 meters above sea level, with a maximum depth of 76 meters!!! The lake is so clear that stones at a depth of about 5 meters are very visible... The turquoise-emerald water against the backdrop of towering rocky mountains is simply mesmerizing...
Descent to Morskie Oko...
The hut near Morskie Oko... Here there is a large dining hall-cafe, a reception where we paid for our stay in the tourist hut, and everything needed for a "civilized tourist" - comfortable rooms, Wi-Fi, WC...
In the tourist hut, on the first floor, there are two shower cabins and two toilets, as well as a dining room where you can boil water using an electric kettle and sit in a cozy atmosphere at a table and eat your food. And as in all shelters of this type here, the dining room serves as the main place for floor sleeping for "bedless" tourists... On the second floor, there are rooms with beds and stunning views from the windows...
Our tourist hut surrounded by rocky mountains...
From the huts, a wide asphalt road stretches for 9 km to the bus stop and parking lots. Although the road is excellent, the parking and bus stop are quite far from the attraction, which helps to preserve the environment from human litter a little... The number of people heading to and from the lakes is impressive... We walked to the stop in a stream of other people, like on the avenue of some big city... Every 25 minutes, there were about 10-15 free bio-toilets along the road...
Arriving at the stop, a driver-promoter immediately invited us to his bus heading to Zakopane. Thus ended our small journey through the extraordinarily beautiful places of the Polish-Slovak Carpathians, known as the High Tatras...
Очень красиво!
